Bring your clients here before you submit for permits. They walk the house at full size, make their changes on the floor, and you leave with a recording of what they agreed to.

What changes for your projects

Clients who can't read plans approve them anyway, then see the framing and start asking for changes. The floor moves those conversations to the start.
  • Changes before permits, not during framing

Your clients find the wider island and the bigger pantry while it's still an edit to a drawing.

  • Clients who can't read a plan

They don't have to. They walk it, room by room, at the size it will be built.

  • Couples who disagree

Two versions of a room, walked back to back, settle arguments that drawings can't.

  • A record of the decisions

Every session is recorded, so what the client agreed to on the floor is on file.

  • A reason to choose you

A walkthrough at full size is a step in your process your competitors probably don't offer.

How Calgary builders use it

Daniel, a Calgary custom builder, walks every client through a life-size set of their plans before he submits for permits. In his experience every client finds something to change: a wider island, a bigger pantry, a window moved.

Trickle Creek Homes brought clients through their future home on the floor in September 2026.

Across 18,229 US projects, change orders added 3.2 to 5 percent to the cost on average. Not every change order starts with the client, but the ones that do can happen on the floor, before permits.

“Not one client has ever walked this floor without changing something.”
